A selection of our work.
Pine Walk Capital, an MGA incubator backed by Fidelis Insurance, started trading on the latest version 4.x of Sabrefish’s RiskWrite Cloud Managed Service following a project which went from contract signature to go live in just 2 months.
Rinku Patel, Pine Walk CEO said:
“We chose RiskWrite primarily for its flexibility in allowing us to support multiple MGA’s over a broad range of lines of business. The Cloud Managed Service reduces the need for us to manage any infrastructure other than browser provision.
Sabrefish’s excellent post live application management and support has contributed to the ease of roll out as we bring more MGA’s into the Group over time.”
Sabrefish developed DUAL International’s new pan-European web-based underwriting platform to support their multi-lingual and multi-company operations in Spain, Germany and Italy, on a single instance of RiskWrite.
Steve White at DUAL International said:
“We chose Sabrefish and RiskWrite to help radically streamline our end-to-end business processes in Europe. We wanted to ensure low fixed costs associated to I.T. operations and yet increase our overall business agility.
By choosing RiskWrite we will meet these aims and also be able to launch new products more quickly, eliminating traditional paper based processes and removing the need to liaise with third party software providers to make changes to our platform. We will additionally create policies and quotations dynamically whilst ensuring more effective reporting between our underwriters and brokers, and reporting to our carriers in a more timely and accurate manner.
Each of the European offices has differing needs and RiskWrite allows the flexibility to implement different models for each office."
After acquiring Novae’s Regional Financial Lines business, Nexus formed a new Managing General Agency (MGA) called Nexus Professional Risks Ltd (NPR) and approached Sabrefish to supply a new system to service and grow the business.
Sabrefish configured and implemented RiskWrite to provide NPR with a full multi-channel insurance underwriting solution, including policy administration and broker portal.
Colin Thompson, Nexus Group CEO said:
“We were looking for an affordable system that would not only be up and running quickly but had the necessary functions to drive operational efficiency. Sabrefish will implement the new system, including migrating data, in less than two months.
A fast implementation is critical to the success of our acquisition. RiskWrite is a popular choice with our underwriters because they are confident in its ability to support our business needs. It will allow us to respond quickly to rate and market changes and to communicate with agents and brokers across all our channels.
We are also considering using it within the rest of the Nexus business”.
Sabrefish implemented RiskWrite to provide Novae the foundation from which they can effectively deliver their services. Novae Insurance Company (Novae) is now owned by AXIS Capital.
Novae’s mission is to provide the London and regional markets with superior underwriting and first-class service levels. They provide a range of specialist insurances to clients based predominantly in the UK and Europe.
