Chris Harvey - Chief Executive Officer
In 1989 Chris co-founded Salmon, the global systems integrator, with Nick Holl, and was Managing Director and CEO for 23 years before becoming Chairman in 2012. He led the separation of the insurance and RiskWrite division from Salmon into Sabrefish in 2013 in order to give this business his full attention.
During his time at Salmon, Chris was involved in the start up of Salmon LLC in New York, Salmon China in Beijing and Salmon Asia Pacific in Sydney. He also led a demerger in 2000, the sale of Salmon to Novell in 2004, the management buy back from Novell in 2007 and the exceptional growth of the business that followed.
Jon Garaway - Chief Operating Officer
Prior to joining Sabrefish in 2013, Jon worked for Salmon for 23 years since its inception in 1989. He worked on large scale projects for companies such as Salomon Brothers, Anglian Water & Abbey National as a developer & team lead. In 2002, Jon helped to start up the team that designed, developed & evolved the RiskWrite product over the following decade. Initially responsible for software delivery, the role expanded to include management of the customer support teams and in 2009 Jon became Head of the Salmon Insurance Practice with overall responsibility for the RiskWrite product as well as the practice’s IT function & personnel.
Steve Parry - Head of IT
Coming from a strong technical background, Steve has been instrumental in the development of RiskWrite since its inception and has been a driving force behind the technological advances made to the product in that time. Steve has responsibility for the ongoing evolution of the product, the introduction of the latest technologies and promoting support for increasingly diverse delivery channels. Steve previously worked for Salmon for 14 years, prior to which he worked in finance for Trimark Funds.
Merlin Inkley - Head of Business Development
Merlin is a strong advocate of Customer Experience. His background of twenty five years bringing highly technical and ground-breaking optimisation systems to the media space that have moved the industry forward, position him to bring a fresh view to insurance systems in general and RiskWrite in particular. Having commissioned leading edge systems that manage the interface between frontline sales and the back office, he will be the customer ‘champion’ within Sabrefish. Merlin spent 20 years at Channel 4 Television. His most recent role was as Head of Portfolio and Airtime Management where he ran a team of 140 staff and trail blazed the systems integration for Channel 4’s TV and online trading platforms.
